Welcome to Born Abel!
Abel was born with an Omphalocele and Trisomy 18. He changed the lives of his mommy and daddy as they fought relentlessly for his medical care from the minute they adopted him and his twin brother as embryos.
Abel has featured thousands of children in his adorable books showcasing how “ABEL” and worthy children with disabilities are no matter the limitations or duration of their lives. Although his life may have seemed short to our standards, his legacy lives on and he continues to inspire people throughout the world! Click on “Abel’s Books” to learn more!

Born Abel highlights and normalizes the humanity, worth, and abilities of babies and children born with complex health conditions. We provide parent support – connecting families with advocacy resources and showcasing these amazingly abeled children in colorful, kid-friendly books.

We invite families to submit prayer requests which we post on our social media pages for our prayer team worldwide.
